Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. We do not sell your personal data — ever.

1. Who We Are

Shop Tracker is operated by TGG Consulting LLC, a California limited liability company, doing business as Grisham Interactive. You can reach us at support@shoptracker.work.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store plain-text passwords.

Shop Data: Routes, stops, assignments, job IDs, pay amounts, vendor information, due dates, and notes that you enter into the app are stored in your personal account.

Mileage & Location Data: If you use GPS tracking, we collect GPS coordinates to calculate driving mileage. Background location access (Android) is used only while a mileage tracking session is active. Your mileage records are stored in your account. To show a map, turn a stop's address into map coordinates, and work out the best order to drive your stops, addresses and coordinates are sent to our mapping and routing providers, listed in Data Sharing below. We never sell location data and we do not use it for advertising.

Payment & Expense Records: Payment logs, reimbursements, and expense entries you record in the app are stored in your account.

Usage Data: We collect your app version, last login date, and platform (web or Android) to help us support you and improve the app.

Feedback: If you submit feedback through the app, we store your message and email address to follow up with you.

Photos: Receipt photos, stop photos and timer photos you take in the app are stored in your account. They are visible only to you, and deleting the record they belong to deletes the photo with it.

Devices: We record a randomly generated device identifier, a device description (for example "Android app" or "Windows browser"), and the last time each device was seen, so you can review the devices signed in to your account and sign any of them out remotely. This identifier is generated by the app and is not an advertising ID or a hardware serial number.

Reviews: If you submit a review of Shop Tracker, we store the name, location, rating and text you provide, and the email address if you give one. A review is only shown publicly after it has been approved, and only the first name, last initial and location you entered are displayed. Email addresses are never published.

Partner Program: If you sign up through a partner link, we store the partner code that link carried on your account, so the correct trial length and any partner offer can be applied. We share the number of signups with the partner, never your identity or your shop data.

Beta Applications & Waitlist: If you apply for beta access or join the waitlist through our website, we collect the information you provide in those forms.

Categories, sources and purposes

California law asks us to describe what we collect using its own categories. In the twelve months before the date above we have collected:

Category What that means here Why we hold it
IdentifiersEmail address, account ID, device nameTo run your account and contact you about it
Commercial informationYour shops, pay, reimbursements, expenses and subscription statusTo provide the service you signed up for
Geolocation dataGPS coordinates while a mileage session is runningTo calculate your mileage. Nothing else
Internet or network activityApp version, platform and last sign-in dateTo support you and keep old versions working

All of it comes from one source: you, either by entering it in the app or by your device reporting it while you use a feature that needs it. We do not buy personal information, and we do not collect it from data brokers, social networks or public records.

Sensitive personal information. Precise geolocation counts as sensitive under California law. We use it only to work out how far you drove for a shop, we never use it to infer anything about you, and we never disclose it. That is already narrower than the law's limit, so there is nothing further for you to restrict.

No trackers. Shop Tracker carries no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs and no third-party tracking pixels, on the website or in the Android app.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.

4. AI-Powered Features

The AI Import feature uses Anthropic's Claude API to process assignment text and screenshots you submit. This content is sent to Anthropic's servers for processing and is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We recommend not submitting any personally sensitive information beyond your shop assignments.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a PostgreSQL-based cloud database with row-level security. This means your data is only accessible by you and authorized Shop Tracker administrators.

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We do not have access to your password.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate the Service:

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data protection practices.

Emails we send. We send transactional emails you cannot opt out of while you hold an account, such as password resets, receipts, and a security alert when a new device signs in. We also send a small number of onboarding and trial emails during and shortly after your free trial. Every one of those carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them without affecting your account or the transactional emails above.

Support access. Our administrator can see account-level information (your name, email, plan, trial dates and device list) in order to provide support. We do not read the contents of your shop data except where you specifically ask us to look at something in order to resolve a problem you have reported.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Two ways to exercise them. Delete your account and its data yourself at any time from shoptracker.work/delete-account or from Settings in the app, or email us at support@shoptracker.work and we will respond within 45 days. An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf by emailing us with written permission signed by you; we may still contact you directly to confirm it. We verify a request by matching the email address it comes from to the one on the account, and we do not ask for extra personal information in order to do so.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

9. Children's Privacy

Shop Tracker is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will delete their account promptly.

10. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the rights to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for using them. The categories we collect, where they come from and why we hold them are set out in section 2, and how to make a request is set out in section 7.

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we have not done so in the twelve months before the date at the top of this page. "Share" here carries its CPRA meaning of disclosure for cross-context behavioural advertising, which we do not do either. We have never had reason to knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16, and the service is not intended for anyone under 18. Because none of this happens, there is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link to give you.

Retention: we keep your account data while your account is open, and remove it within 30 days of deletion, as set out in section 8. We do not keep any category longer than that.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
